Directions to Christ Church Cathedral

From the North and South: I-91 to Hartford, take exit 32B/Trumbull Street. At the end of the ramp, go straight at the traffic light and up the hill to the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street. The Cathedral is three blocks south on the right.

From the East: I-84 west to exit 50/Main Street. At the end of the ramp, go straight at the traffic light and up the hill to the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street. The Cathedral is two blocks south on the right.

From the West: I-84 east to exit 50/Main and Trumbull Streets. At the end of the ramp, go straight at the traffic light one block to Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street. The Cathedral is one block south on the right.

Parking:
Parking is available for everyone in the alley at the 8:00 am service. For the 10:00 am service the alley is reserved for persons with disabilities. Free parking is available in the Talcott Street parking lot or in the Hartford Stage Garage beginning at 8:00 am during the Church School year. Hartford Stage Garage tickets will be validated at the coffee hour following the worship services.
Our Cathedral is accessible to all persons with disabilities.

The Cathedral's Main Street entrance has a ramp, and there is an elevator lift providing access to a unisex rest room. The lift is located in the hallway just beyond the baptismal font of the Cathedral. The Cathedral House is also equipped with an elevator, servicing all floor levels for Cathedral activities. Entrance is in the alley way between the Cathedral and the Cathedral House. There are rest rooms, accessible to all, on the basement level and on the second floor level where our Reception Room is located.

There are several parking garages and lots within easy walking distance of the
Cathedral. Most are located off of Church Street (which borders the north side
of the Cathedral).

3. Saint's Surface Parking (Ann and Church Streets)
4. Lot on Main Street across the street and one block north of the Cathedral
(corner of Main and Talcott Sts.)
5. Talcott Street Garage (Market Street near Talcott St.)

SUNDAY PARKING - Street parking is available as the parking meters are not monitored on Sundays. The MAT Garage (Hartford Stage Co. garage) is open at 8 a.m. and you may park in the garage.
