Join us for a Pastoral Conversation with Episcopalian members of the National Rifle Association
The Bishops of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut invite Episcopalian members of the National Rifle Association and other Episcopalian owners of firearms in Connecticut to a pastoral conversation about how best to address the epidemic of gun violence in the United States.
The Church is in a unique position to offer guidance and support to engage difficult issues and questions, following Jesus as Lord and the truth of the Gospel. We, as believers, must create safe and brave spaces to discuss hard questions that divide us in our church and in our nation.
Gun violence continues to tear at the fabric of our society. This conversation is intended to foster cooperation, common ground, and understanding between the leadership of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut and Episcopalian members of the NRA and other Episcopalian owners of firearms in order to constructively address and overcome gun violence.
