2020 Lenten Series - Week 4: Practicing Faithful Habits

This year, our Lenten Series will be hosted in the context of a book discussion.  We invite you to join us in a journey to deepen our discipleship, nurturing our soul through discussion and meditation on Patrick Allen’s Book “Morning Resolved”. This book is developed from a “A Morning Resolve” prayer printed in the inside cover of Forward Day by Day. It is a profound, comprehensive and gentle prayer that reminds us to tend to each area of our lives as a spiritual journey. It is a prayer for wholeness.

The movement of this series intends to speak to discipleship in the present Missional Age: 2020 and beyond. Reading, thinking, discussing new behaviors to repel negativity, cultivate healthy attitudes and habits, exercise grace in our activities, practice faith, embrace, heal and reconcile as God's peoples.

Each week, we will navigate one of the four parts of the book. On the final week, we will devote time for conversations focused on racial reconciliation as part of our wholistic approach to nurturing our relationship with God, self and others.
